grub-efi-amd64-bin software package provides GRand Unified Bootloader, version 2 (EFI-AMD64 binaries), you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install grub-efi-amd64-bin
grub-efi-amd64-bin is installed in your system.
Make ensure the grub-efi-amd64-bin package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep grub-efi-amd64-bin *
You will get with grub-efi-amd64-bin package name, version, architecture and description in a table
